Bern, 9 May 2012. With retroactive effect from 31 March 2012 e-globe technologies AG has taken over the GPS Technik AG. By this, the Bern-based IT company intends to strengthen and to expand its market position as a systems integrator and outsourcer. Both companies have long experience in design and system integration of operational support systems (OSS) and Business Support Systems (BSS). The existing facilities and jobs will be preserved.

The aim of the merger of both companies is to extend and to improve the existing services in the cable network, electricity and telecom market as an innovative provider of integrated services and in order to offer added value to customers. The synergies and complementarities of skills of GPS Technik AG and e-globe technologies AG provide new customer-oriented services that meet the continuously changing markets – particularly in the field of fibre technology.

The e-globe technologies AG sees itself as a socially responsible employer. It will continue the operations of the GPS Technik AG with all employees at the two existing sites in Schlieren and Bussigny VD.
